  1. We always desired our children to develop a strong foundation with Christian values. As we were unable to afford the tuition fees we were left with no choice but to resort to public schools. But the Lord opened the door for us at a time of need. Through the bursary we were able to send our child to Cornerstone Christian School. We are indeed grateful for God's provision in enabling us to send our child to a Christian School. God bless CCS.
      1. It talks about building a good foundation in I Corinthians 3. A solid biblical foundation is critical for maintaining a Godly life. Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not turn from it." Having the opportunity to send my child to a school where God is at the forefront of everything is truly a blessing. Even though, I may not be able to provide my child with all of life's 'luxuries', with the help of Cornerstone she can be provided with the most luxurious gift of all. If hearing my eight year old so openly praise the Lord and quote scripture delights my heart. How much more does it delight our Heavenly Father. Cornerstone Christian School has given my child something I alone never could for that I am grateful.
      2. Our family has been extremely blessed to be a part of this school. Our son has benefited in every way of his life, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. He has been challenged to make his faith real. When he was sick last week, he said, "Mom pray for me so that I can be healed." That is the first thing they would do at this school is pray. What a blessing to be a part of this school where God is lifted up. He is becoming more comfortable in the word of God, and I see him having his devotions every night. As parents we are really seeing that there is definitely a 'war' for our children's souls. The more of God that they can know when they are younger will make them stronger for the future. Praise God that in Canada we have this freedom to have a Christian Schools. We are so blessed to have such a dedicated team of teachers and board at the school who truly care for each one of the students. The fact that this school will allow bursaries says that they do not want this school just for the elite. They really care and want to make it possible for any family to attend here regardless of finances
      3. "A bursary to this family has been something that I cannot say thank you enough for. I am a single mom, widowed about 7 years ago. Left with the responsibility of raising three young boys, I felt that I was so unprepared for this and yet knowing the importance of raising them with the teaching and foundations available through Christ and His word. Although all of us as a family struggled with this new phase in our lives, my youngest boy was affected the hardest. He was very close to his dad and became very angry with God for taking his dad away. If it wasn't for the love of this school family towards him, the prayers for our family and the continued support when we were faced with this challenge I don't believe he would have such a heart for God now. This last year has been a struggle in other ways and I just didn't see a way that we could keep him in the school this year. We were prepared to pull him from the school and then I got a call that as a board they wanted to have my son in the school this year and would help out with the financial requirements. As a mom I can't tell you how that humbled me before many and God. I struggled with accepting that God would love me enough to bless my son in such a way. I truly believe that this school and their commitment to help others and to practice what God's word teaches allows them to be God's hand extended into this community. I see my boy changing each year he is in the school, drawing closer to his Lord and Saviour and know in my heart that one day God will use this young man to bring Glory and Honour to our Lord. What better investment is there in this life? None! So from our family, a big heartfelt thank you."
      4. We have been blessed to have our son attend Cornerstone Christian School. He has grown in his love for God and he has made friendships that will last for a life-time! He is encouraged to excel in all areas of his life and he has also received excellent training in being a disciple of Christ. This school has a total family feel about it and the older students treat the younger students as family. The attitudes displayed and learnt here will impact our kids forever! What a difference this school has made to our son! We are grateful.
