Cornerstone Christian School houses Kindergarten through to Grade 9. Parental Involvement is fully welcome at all grade levels.
Kindergarten
For the 2012-2013 school year we will offer either 3 or 5 full day/week options from 8:40am through 3:15pm. Our Kindergarten class takes part in learning, fun, field trips and many other great experiences. Kindergarten tuition is $75.00 monthly for 3 day or $125 for 5 day in a 10 month program.
Grades 1-9
Monday through Friday, grades 1 - 12 experience the education of a lifetime. School begins at 8:40am and ends at 3:15pm. There is a 11:55am early dismissal for the whole school which occurs approx. the third Friday of each month. Classroom settings are small and personal. Please contact the office in regards to tuition for these grades. A portion of your tuition is tax receiptable!
Door to Door Bus Service
Every school day we have a door to door bus service for just $105.00 a month/12 months (2011-2012) per family. This is an optional service which serves the Medicine Hat, Redcliff, Dunmore and immediate area around the city. Free for kindergarten.
Curriculum
CCS follows Alberta Education guidelines while implementing the Word of God into the students studies! Chapel time is scheduled once a week. Pastors ( from the Evangelical churches in Medicine Hat and area), teachers, special speakers and various individuals are invited to teach throughout the year. All are invited to our Chapel Times. Math, language, science and social are the top subjects taught along with: Bible, computers, current events, spanish, art and physical education.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, and Track and Field are just an example of other activities that are a part of CCS! Go Eagles!
